A museum visit without stimuli? Specifically for visitors who are easily overstimulated or tired, are we happy to facilitate a low-stimulation museum visit. Upon request for a low-stimulus visit, we open the museum doors an hour earlier. Let us know which exhibition you would like to visit and wander through the museum on your own, or with family or friends. We will prepare your visit and would like to know what stimuli we can eliminate, for example loud noises, overlapping sound effects, or visual stimuli such as bright lights or light flashes. Upon request, we will set up a room where you can relax over a cup of coffee or tea.
We organise these low-stimulus private visits specially for people who, for example have brain injuries, long-covid, dementia, autism and other special needs that make stimuli exhausting.
