art talk | workshop | drag acts

On Sunday April 12, the Fries Museum is all about expression, identity and performance. Expect an afternoon full of drag, art and conversations that move and challenge.

💋 Drag shows 12:30 to 17:00
Every 30 minutes a new performer takes the stage, with lipsync.
He gets the audience going with his mix of eierballen, costumes and expression. Falco Cane is not just a kitsch king. His performances are grounded in real emotion, giving him a charm that resonates.
During the 14:30 and 15:30 acts, Falco Cane or David Puck will share more about drag and art.

🎤 Art Talk 15:00 to 16:00
Join an English language Art Talk with David Puck (UK) and Asbestos (Ireland) about political activism in street art. Ask questions and learn more about their work. The moderator is Hugo Engwerda, lecturer/researcher at the Minerva Academy for Pop Culture and artistic director of Stichting Kladmuur.

No registration needed, regular ticket prices.

Special offer: admission is free for visitors up to 25 years old during the run of The Wall is Yours (April 4 to July 12). Just turned 25+? No worries! For this graffiti & street art takeover, a single ticket gives access to the museum for the entire duration of the exhibition. So you only pay once €17.50 (or €8 for students) for four months of unlimited access.
