Before becoming addicted to Mata Hari, Dutch journalist Hanneke Boonstra wrote for various newspapers and produced programmes for radio & television. Her Mata Hari Project, which began in 2015 when she travelled to Paris, London and Rome, in search of the famous Dutch dancer, courtesan and spy. Now, in 25 blogs run till the opening of the Mata Hari exposition in October, she tells the stories behind Mata Hari.
